Beastie Boys' Adam Yauch (MCA) er død
Døde av kreft, kun 47 år gammel.
Adam Nathaniel Yauch ble født i Brooklyn i New York og var en av grunnleggerne av gruppen Beastie Boys i 1979. I gruppen kalte han seg MCA. Opprinnelig var Beastie Boys en punkgruppe, men ble rappere før de ga ut sin første plate Licensed to Ill.
Platen ble svært populær etter at deres singel Fight for your Right to Party slo igjennom internasjonalt.
Totalt har Beastie Boys solgt over 40 millioner album verden over.
Rapperen har hatt kreftdiagnosen siden 2009 da han oppdaget en svulst i spyttkjertelen. Etter hans død har svært mange artister twitret sine tanker.
